WEE SPEARS – The birthday party

I was at the opening of “fotografiska” the new photo museum in Stockholm this thursday (it was actually my birthday and i fell in love with this photographer called Wee Speers. it was a fantastic exhibition and a very nice party. Me and Fredrik (my best mate) hung out there and we where both really struck by the imagery so here you get a peek. if you are in Stockholm it really is worth checking out, i thought it was an amazing new museum.

GHOST IN THE MACHINE

Ghost in the machine is an art project made out of old cassette tapes done by Erika Iris Simmons. I think they look amazing. PETER FRANCK

Alright, aside from the obvious reason to why i love this guy’s work, (naked women) there is a lovely play with colour here. Also i think the subtleness of his work is very interesting, you know, the way it could be shot through a mirror, or where, the naked woman, takes a background role to stuffed animal.
